Our Process

Filling a key position requires focused research, an organized approach and a systematic search process. We invest the time to understand the company, its values and business goals. We work with our clients to clarify objectives and job specifications. We know that candidates who thrive in one company may not necessarily thrive in another, so we make sure that we understand the character and culture of the organization. If a client expects too much while offering too little, we tell them in a timely fashion. If it appears to us that the solution to a problem is not just a new employee but a redefinition of the existing position or situation, we let them know that as well.

In the course of asking and listening, we develop a partnership with the client and we design a targeted plan for that project. Using all of the available technology and our proprietary search tools, our network is “networked” to produce the right candidate for presentation quickly and confidently.

  • Planning and Research. We begin by defining the scope of the project, creating a profile of the position to be filled and establishing a timeline for the search process. Using client competitor information, our industry sources and confidential referrals, we conduct thorough research to uncover potential candidates. We also draw upon the internal strength of our Network and its sophisticated search capabilities.
  • Candidate Contact. Once candidates are identified, we contact them on a direct, personal basis. We become the client’s spokesperson, presenting their objectives and the opportunity. At the same time, we examine the qualifications of each candidate against the comprehensive profile. Not until a strong mutual interest is determined does the process move forward.
  • Presentation of Candidates. Only the most qualified candidates are presented for our clients’ consideration. We assist them in scheduling and monitoring the interview process with their management team.
  • The Decision and the Offer. While the client makes the decision on the best candidate for their organization, we assist during this critical stage by facilitating communications on compensation, relocation and benefits. We also counsel the candidate through the emotional process of resigning the present position, including dealing with potential counter-offers.
  • Ongoing Relationship. Our goal is to provide our clients with top performers who will quickly contribute to the company’s goals and make a real difference in their organization. At AlpineCRS we do not consider a search successful unless this goal has been accomplished.
